provision of landscape concept plan for development assessment
FRED St has provided a concept that facilitates an improved landscape amenity from a clear site with screening buffers, native plantings and large areas of bio retention and detention. Appropriate measures to retain the yield of the lot have been taken, while presenting a landscaped and soft image externally. Strongly guided by Gold Coast City Council’s Flora Lists and the applicable regional biodiversity, an environmentally sensitive plant palette was developed. By using predominately local native species, a landscape will be created that is keeping with the local character and benefit ecological biodiversity. A variety of plant forms will soften retaining walls, provide height in scale with the buildings and facilitate the desirable water quality improvements.
